Erin Longbottom KC boarded at Stuartholme for 5 years, graduating in 1994.
In 2004, she commenced practice as a barrister and was appointed silk in 2019. Prior to coming to the Bar, Erin served as the Associate to the Hon Justice Margaret McMurdo AC, President of the Queensland Court of Appeal (2002) and the Hon Justice Philip McMurdo of the Supreme Court of Queensland (2003).
Erin practices widely in public law and commercial law, with a particular focus on native title and administrative law. She acted as Counsel Assisting the Board of Inquiry into the Criminal Justice Agencies in R v Lehrmann and as Counsel Assisting in the Defence and Veteran Suicide Royal Commission. Erin appears in several jurisdictions, including the High Court, Federal Court and Supreme Court of Queensland.
Erin is a mother and stepmother to 6, including 2 daughters who currently attend Stuartholme.
